Our beef takes longer to grow, to dress out, in size from start to finish. That means a longer time in the pasture. This is not your grocery store meat.
Our beef hangs for 21 days for the aging process. This allows the muscle fibers to break down and gives the meat more flavor and tenderness that customers desire. It is USDA-inspected. The meat is of premium quality. (The average hangtime is 10-14 days.)

If it so happens, there might be a certain cut of meat that you don't want, this is where you have the option to grind it into the ground burger. You have the option to grind some, most, or all of your meat if you so desire. Example steak burgers.
The Process...
1. Add your choice of Meat Package to your cart.
2. Place a deposit down to reserve your Meat Package.
3. An automated email will be sent out to you for your purchase. I will also send you a Thank You email.
4. I will notify you when the product goes into Jones Farm Meats. Then a few days later will get you the information needed to proceed with the cut sheet instructions.
There is a 21-day hangtime for the aging process to occur. During this time, I will provide you with a blank cut sheet that you can use. Also, I usually provide a recent customer's cut sheet to give you some ideas on what to expect. This will be when you'll either call Jones Farm Meats or use their website to place your cut order with them. I suggest calling, so if you do have questions they can answer them at that moment. They are knowledgeable and helpful with this cut process.
5. When this product is finished, we will inform you that your order is done. I will ask you to provide the days and times that will work best for delivery. At this time, I will send your invoice via email.
6. We will pick up your order from Jones and make the delivery free of charge to your door/freezer at the time you requested. At this time, you'll also get your cut sheet back from the processor.
7. Final payment at the time of delivery.

Please note that "item in stock" refers to out in the field.
It should be around 3-4 months (+/-) from when that "item in stock" goes into the processor from when you place your order and/or depending on what is sold prior.
